Vintage Fendi Pequin Stripe Flap Crossbody Bag – Karl Lagerfeld Era

A beautifully restored vintage Fendi Pequin crossbody featuring the house’s iconic brown and black striped textile, introduced during Karl Lagerfeld’s tenure at Fendi.

Dating to approximately the late 1980s–early 1990s, this structured flap bag features dark leather trim, gold-tone hardware, an adjustable and removable leather strap, and the classic circular FF emblem. Remove the strap to carry it as an oversized clutch.

The interior is exceptionally clean for its age with a zip pocket, Fendi S.A.S. Roma Made in Italy plaque, and vintage serial number printed directly onto the pocket lining.

Includes its original vintage Fendi dust bag and a LegitApp Certificate of Authenticity.

Condition

Good restored vintage condition.

The bag has been carefully cleaned, conditioned, and restored while retaining its vintage character. The original leather piping has been removed and restructured to restore the edges, structure, and usability of the bag. The exterior textile has also been treated with a protective Saphir conditioning treatment to clean and prevent wear.

The Pequin textile is in great condition. Leather and gold-tone hardware are in great condition but show light vintage wear. Interior is remarkably clean for its age.

All closures and hardware function properly.
